Fire Medics is a voluntary program of the Newport Beach Fire Department. Its purpose is to protect you against the unexpected costs of paramedic services and emergency ambulance transportation. All residences and business located in the incorporated area of Newport Beach are eligible for membership. Whether you want to pay the $48 annual subscription fee in one lump sum or in several installments, there’s an easy pay plan for you!
Why should you join?
You’ll save up to $650 per paramedic visit. For a fee of $48 a year, you’ll be covered for unlimited paramedic services and emergency ambulance transportation-with no out-of-pocket expenses. Membership covers anyone at the subscribing address, whether a residence or business-for example, family members, guests, customers, or employees. Non-members are billed for the full cost for paramedic assistance - up to $650 per visit.
There’s no paperwork or bills, whether you’re insured or not. The health plans of insured individuals are billed directly.
