PHC exonerates ATC convict
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Monday acquitted Ajab Khan accused of possessing illegal arms, by setting aside the conviction order of an anti-terrorism court (ATC). An ATC in Dera Ismail Khan had awarded Ajab eight years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 for possessing a hand grenade and illegal weapons. Ajab moved the Peshawar High Court against the decision of the ATC. Justice Tariq Parvez set aside the conviction order of the ATC and acquitted Ajab. staff report
