President greets Malaysia, Kyrgyztan, Trinidad and Tobago
ISLAMABAD: President Pervez Musharraf has greeted the Malaysian king, the Kyrgyz Republic president and the Trinidad and Tobago president on their national days on August 31. The president sent greetings to three countries on behalf of the Pakistani government and people. In his message to Malaysian King Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, president Musharraf said the friendship between the two countries was time-tested and based on solid foundations of a common faith and culture. In his greeting to Kyrgyz Republic President Askar Akaevich Akaev, President Musharraf said that two countries enjoyed cordial relations which would become stronger. Greeting his Trinidad and Tobago counterpart Professor George Maxwell Richards on their national day, the president said, “Pakistan has enjoyed friendly relations with Trinidad and Tobago in the past. I am confident the bilateral relations will be stronger in the years to come.” APP
