PIA’s first flight lands at Moscow after many years
MOSCOW: Pakistan International Airline’s first flight to Moscow after a break of many years, landed at the Moscow airport on Sunday.
It was received by the Ambassador of Pakistan S Iftikhar Murshed, officials of the Pakistan Embassy and Director General of the Sheremetyevo Airport.
PIA has announced the start of two weekly flights from Karachi to Moscow via Dubai, every Sunday and Wednesday. Passengers wanting to travel from Moscow to Islamabad, Peshawar or Lahore have the option of changing planes at Dubai Airport.
With the start of regular PIA flights to Moscow, it is expected that trade, commerce and tourism between Pakistan and Russia, will increase and the Pakistani community in Russia and other members of the Commonwealth of Independent States have welcomed the resumption of PIA flights to Moscow. app
