India asks United States to keep Pakistan out of armies seminar
NEW DELHI: India has conveyed its reservations to the US on the participation of Pakistan in the 28th Pacific Armies Management seminar next month. Around 30 countries, including the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) states will participate in the seminar that will be inaugurated by the Indian Army Chief General NC Vij, PTI reported. Officials said though the Pakistan Army had attended a similar Pacific area seminar earlier as an observer, this time India has asked the US to keep the Islamabad delegation out of the meeting. online
