Case against PML MNA, 10 others for manhandling police officers
PINDI BHATTIAN: Mandi Sukheki Police registered a case on Monday against 11 people including the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Mehdi Hasan Bhatti for tearing the uniform of an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) and manhandling other police officers.
Pindi Bhattian Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Imran Mahmood told reporters on Monday that some officers from the Mandi Sukheki Police Station including ASI Mansab Ali Bhatti, Rana Muhammad Tufail, Lal Khan, Muhammad Nawaz and others went to Village Dar for the compliance of the Gujranwala Banking Court warrants. The police officers asked for Khizar Hayat who was not at home. They took along his son and asked him to take them to his father. When the police reached Nai Mandi, MNA Chaudhry Mehdi Hasan Bhatti and his armed associates intercepted the police van, manhandled the ASI, dragged him and tore his uniform. online
