1983 Society
The LSMSA Foundation's membership and leadership society will help the school foster a tradition of philanthropy by reconginizing its most loyal and committed supporters. Click here for the 1983 Society Launch flier.Annual contributions of $100 or more qualify an individual for active membership in the LSMSA Foundation. Members are recognized in the annual report and are granted voting rights in Trustee elections and in other business at the annual meeting. This meeting is generally held in conjunction with Graduation/Reunion Weekend in May.
Making a gift within the Annual Giving year (July 1 - June 30) at the 1983 Society level allows you to play an important role in the financial health of LSMSA and make a powerful statement about your commitment to a valuable LSMSA education. Gifts of $1,983 or more qualify for membership in the society. Each person that joins the 1983 Society helps move LSMSA in a direction where the school is less reliant on state funding. Society members of the 1983 Society will be recognized in the Annual Report and at a banquet held in September.
The Leadershp Circle of the 1983 Society is reserved for those donors who want to support the school at a higher level. Those donors donate $5,000 or more to Annual Giving and become the leaders of the 1983 Society. The Leadership Circle will be called upon occasionally to give their advice and opinions on Foundation matters and will experience first-hand how their financial support impacts the quality of LSMSA's Living/Learning Community. Aside from the Annual Report, the Leadership Circle will also be recognized at the 1983 Society Banquet.
We continue to seek corporate partnership opportunities. The Foundation's highest level recognizes corporations who see the value LSMSA adds to the state and to the nation by producing ready, responsible citizens. These corporate donors advance the school's ability to explore new worlds and expand knowledge and understanding in a global society.
