Parents Association of the Louisiana School

Parents are valuable partners in the Louisiana School's mission to provide a challenging and rewarding environment for students to live, learn, and achieve. The Parents Association of the Louisiana School (PALS) encourages parents to stay informed about ways they can support the school both on and off campus. The association also plans events and fundraisers to connect its members with the faculty, staff, and special programs that make the school such a special place for students.

The PALS board of directors meets regularly in order to plan events, to discuss ways to improve communication among parents, and to manage its portion of the student activity fee.

Among its regular annual activities, PALS helps each of the 10 districts plan a summer social to welcome new students and parents from their district, provides a luncheon for all of the students at the fall required weekend, organizes special events and gifts for faculty and staff appreciation week, sets up a great party on commencement weekend for graduates and their families, and hosts an appreciation event for the legislature
