New Found Glory Plays Guitar Hero on PS2

New Found Glory is a punk-pop quintet which formed during the summer of 1997 in Coral Springs, FL. The band members are: Jordan Pundik (vocals), Chad Gilbert (guitar), Steve Klein (guitar), Ian Grushka (bass) and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). The band's debut album did moderately well, reaching 107 on the Billboard 200 album charts. It was a 2001 tour supporting blink-182 and the band's second album that same year which really broke New Found Glory. Sticks and Stones debuted on Billboard's album charts at number 4 and sold nearly 100,000 albums in its first week of release. The band has since headlined two Warped Tours, in 2002 and 2004, and is set to do the same in 2007.

Few fans know that Pundik actually studied game design while he was in school. And that's not the band's only link to geek culture. Gilbert is a former member of the band Shai Hulud, named after the Fremen designation for the enormous sandworms of the Dune series, which the Arrakis natives worship as gods. Gilbert is also married to Eisley vocalist Sherri DuPree; Eisley is named after the remote desert settlement of Mos Eisley, which should need no introduction to you readers.
