DragonForce Plays Guitar Hero on PS2

DragonForce is a U.K.-based power metal sextet founded in 1999 and known for its lightning-fast guitar licks and lush arrangements which are often backed by electric keyboards and choral singing. The current band members are: Herman Li (guitar and backing vox), Sam Totman (guitar and backing vox), ZP Theart (lead vocals), Vadim Pruzhanov (keyboards and backing vox), Frédéric Leclercq (bass and backing vox) and David Mackintosh (drums and backing vox).

Dragonforce's lyrics generally have a fantastical or epic focus and many of their melodies are influenced by video games. Further, Guitarist Li often uses his guitar to mimic identifiable sound effects from games such as Pac-Man and Ghosts 'n Goblins, which he inserts seamlessly into the band's songs. Dragonforce's video for "Operation Ground and Pound" featured all of the band's members as characters in a video game. It's also of the most extreme importance that we tell you that the band often uses trampolines during their shows.
