Emerging from Warsaw in Poland, we find the  brutal death metal squad called Mesmerized and their 2^nd full length release called “Antihuman Inferno” which saw the light…or better said…the darkness on January 2011 via Psycho Recs from Poland too.

With two splits and a previews album released six years ago, now we find a band that has delivered a very brutal record of extreme death metal. Extreme in their sound that sometimes even reminds me a little bit of Hate Eternal but less chaotic and with more “punch” in certain mid tempo parts they incorporate, which is good because extreme brutality doesn’t mean the same ultra boring carnival of riffs together without any feeling, it is more about achieving certain atmosphere that in the case of Mesmerized, seem to be able to capture.

In vocals department, we find a monster growling over and over…but combining such grunts with screams that in certain moments help to increase the overall brutality of the album  which by the way has memorable passages like for example the 6^th song called “Eternal Solitude”…holy shit…that’s a damned killer song…slow at the beginning, mid paced later…but always with those creepy voices accompanied with a marching pattern in the double blast that naturally makes you start moving your head like a  zombie…yeah…simply great!!!

Packed with a killer full colour artwork, the “Antihuman Inferno” comes with lyrics, band pictures and the usual brutal death metal drawings that are gonna be delightfull for every death metal maniac…you know, this is the type of albums that once you purchase them, will end up being permanent items of your collection.
