The agreement "On Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technical, and Cultural Cooperation between the City Hall of Yerevan, RA and the City Hall of Kishinev, Moldova" was signed between Yerevan and Kishinev on May 25, 2005 in Kishinev. The parties undertook obligations to expand friendly relations among citizens of both cities, promote new forms of public and economic development and reciprocal connections, develop economic relations, strengthen scientific and cultural contacts, and cooperate in the sectors of tourism and nature protection.
