If your federation is organising an event and would like to invite mountaineers from all over the world, contact us and we will spread the word!

If you are under 30 years old, don't forget to check out the Youth calendar for expeditions, treks, ski mountaineering and climbing camps etc.

International Winter Climbing Meet in Scotland
"The BMC International Meets are truly memorable and we very much hope your federation will be able to nominate two representatives to take part in this enjoyable and important event," says Becky McGovern from the BMC. This will be the sixth time the club organises such a meet, bringing together climbers of different levels from around the world.  If you would like to take part, you must contact your own climbing federation to be nominated.  The BMC would particularly welcome applications from people who have not attended one of their meets before.  Any climber with reasonable winter climbing experience can apply.
Time: February  22 to  March 1, 2009
Place: Glenmore Lodge, Scotland
Organised by: The British Mountaineering Club (BMC)
Who: Each federation can only send two representatives, if possible one woman and one man. Only one federation per country
Cost: £85 per person, including accommodation and meals.
Application deadline: October 31 2008
