Will the Trojans have what it takes to get the Cup back to Hershey for the 2011-2012 season?
That’s the question surrounding the 11-time Bears Cup Champion that lost 9 seniors to graduation. Head Coach Jarrod Hill will be returning to lead the helm, along with assistant coaches Craig Rank and Dave Parro. Also joining the coaching staff is former Trojan defenseman Max Gruin.
There is no doubt that the Trojans will have a completely different look for the upcoming season. There will be many new faces that will look to veteran leadership of two seniors and one junior. All star senior and leading scorer from last year forward Nick Uberroth and talented junior Luk Devorski will be leaned on heavily up front. Anchoring the team between the pipes will be senior all star goaltender, Gage Cvijic.
Up and coming forwards Aaron Ellenberger, Matt Lechleitner, Nick Shenberger and David Sickler will look to build on their solid Freshman campaign. Sophomore defensemen Dylan Schell gained valuable experience last year and will be counted on for heavier minutes this season.
Assisting with the goaltending duties this year will be Mark Croxall who is moving up from a successful year at the JV level.
Looking to fill the holes due to graduation will be underclassmen Zach Brandeburg, Grayson Cvijic, Adam Hrabovsky, Evan Lecher, Richie McCartney, Gordie Peters, Lloyd Perry and Logan Price.
