Russia's budget-friendy, live-action PS All-Stars ad

Jordan Devore, PC Editor

I actually prefer this Russian live-action advertisement for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (via All Games Beta) over the short we recently got to see. While it is clearly lacking in production values, the commercial more than makes up for with its charming cosplay. You've got to love that Fat Princess getup.

More than anything, it's nice to see videogame ads that don't take themselves too seriously. After all, the premise of All-Stars is pretty damn silly when it comes right down to it. "Weird" might not always sell, but it can work out well when done properly.

New rickonami HD intro is literally 'out of this world'

Riccardo "rickonami" Faidutti has been gradually stepping up his skills. The Mega Man 2 intro was decent if a little too over-produced, and the Star Fox intro was glorious. His other videos are wonderful, especially for smal...   more

Review: Lucius

Being the bad guy is typically more fun than a whiter-than-white hero. They get all the good speeches, the more extravagant plans, and commonly have far better dress sense. Over the years, some games have promised a...   more

Surprise! The Virtue's Last Reward OVA is in English

Can anybody tell how excited I am about this game? Is it that obvious? Aksys has dubbed the 13-minute Virtue's Last Reward OVA that originally came out last year. Unlike the game which uses polygon models, this mini movie fe...   more

Virtue's Last Reward has me caught up in the game

No, I am not LeVar Burton, but I've been told by several people (read: no one) that I greatly resemble him. This is your notice that Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is available right now on 3DS and PS Vita. I'm plugging my way through right now and can't think about much else. I've got Bracelet Points and sh*t on the brain.   more
