While Nintendo experimented on videogame arcades, they simultaneously explored entering the home videogame market. Each Color TV Game came as a single unit containing a single kind of game played in many different ways - sometimes it was merely a change in the game colours, sometimes the game would be harder. Each of them was a success in Japan, paving the way for Nintendo's eventual dominance of the home videogame market with the Family Computer.
