The Concepts and Requirements Division is responsible for envisioning and developing concepts to meet the future medical requirements of the military.
Active duty military officers, noncommissioned officers, retired military, and civilian personnel representing a broad spectrum of experience and knowledge staff the division. Identification of the future medical threat is supported by intelligence assessments and historical trends which represent the potential future needs. Analytical modeling and analysis accomplish identification of possible future operational capabilities. Utilizing the expertise, experience, knowledge, assessments, and analysis, we determine the force health protection future operational needs that will exist for the military across the continuum, from full-scale war through to health care assistance, and then articulates the capabilities required to support those needs.
Identification of solutions is accomplished by an in-depth analysis of doctrine, organization, training, leader development, materiel, personnel, and facilities (DOTLMPF) and includes potential science and technology advancements aimed at better supporting the Soldier in the future battlespace.
As the Combat Developers, we represent the user regarding acquisition decisions, tests and evaluation, planning, programming, and budgeting systems as they relate to materiel and logistical systems.
