Sony has pulled back the curtains on its totally revamped PlayStation Store, updating the ancient layout with a new aesthetic, as well as some extra functionality. The store will get it new clothes on October 17 in Europe, and October 23 in North America.
The new layout is a lot more visually attractive, doing away with the blocky blue look to enjoy something darker and sleeker. Games grab one's attention a lot more, with various characters popping out to draw your eye.
According to VG247, there will be a new, smarter search feature, one that will recognize and fix spelling mistakes, as well as add further filters to help users really narrow down their content. PS Vita/PSP content has also been separated from PS3 content, to help browsers get what they want more swiftly.
