This weekend on Dtoid TV: Sanctum Giveaway photo

After being away for a week in Vegas for CES, and another week due to some scary ass health issues, I'm more than ready to come back to Mash Tactics tonight and have some fun. I'm still damn near blind in my left eye, but that's not going to stop me from hanging out, and playing some Sanctum with the live crowd. As well, I have ten copies of the game to giveaway at the start of the show, so make sure you get there early, and get you some!

Another highlight of our weekend content has to be what's happening on Rad Show: Get There this Sunday. Join in on the madness with the always amazing Johnny Luchador, as he shows off his skills in Ultimate Marvel vs.Capcom 3. If you think that sounds just a tad too dry for a Rad Show broadcast, well, you're thinking correctly. Lucha will be playing UMvC3 not on a regular controller -- oh no -- but with a set of Rock Band drums. That's what's up!

Check out our full schedule for the weekend:

All times are Pacific
FRIDAY

4pm - Mash Tactics
I've got a fever, and the only cure is to give shit away! Join in on our usual Friday multiplayer session this evening, as we rock some Sanctum, and give away ten copies to some lucky viewers at the beginning of the show!

[Each weekday, join King Foom for an interactive journey of laughter and gaming as he plays titles new, old and downright weird in our flagship variety show. Themed episodes every day, including multiplayer viewer participation, in this community-focused program]

SATURDAY

10am - Saturday Morning Hangover
Get your coffee, shake off the Friday blur, and hang out with Conrad, Jordan, and Katina as they jump into the "wonderful" world of Xbox Live indie games, before trying to set some new high scores in Geometry Wars 2!

[Ease the pain from the night before with a little schadenfreude as Destructoid's Conrad Zimmerman, Jordan Devore and the lovely Katrina play the week's Xbox Live Indie Games demos and beg for death's sweet embrace.]
12pm - Weekend Escape
Come hang out with Brett and Cait this afternoon as they play some games, argue with each other, and show some off some animated pandas. Hype! One of these days we'll have some info on what they're playing, ... I swear.

[Hang out with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It's a safe bet that Caitlin is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point.]
4pm - Chill with Phil
Hang out with Phil this afternoon as he continues his epic journey through the entire Devil May Cry series. Every DmC game, full playthroughs of each one, live for your viewing pleasure.

[Philanthr0py hosts this relaxed show in which he performs full game (and series) playthroughs.]
8pm - Substituted Reality
Kill off your Saturday, and possibly a few brain cells, with AwDamn tonight as he invites the the live crowd to join in on the action as he fires up some Chivalry

[Destructoid's only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

SUNDAY

9am - The Sunday Show
Start your morning with Crux, as he goes old school, and rocks a variety of SNES games. What SNES games you ask? Well, you'll just have to get there yourself and find out!

[OnThe Sunday Show join your host, Dr. Crux, as he plays through a variety of games, ranging from new releases to retro classics. Come for the gameplay, stay for the snarky banter. Dr. Crux is not a medical doctor.]

1pm - Sup, Holmes?
Come hang out and join in on the conversation as Jonathan Holmes interviews amazing people from all sides of the gaming industry. Today he will be joined by Luis Hernandez, of Necrophone Games.

[Join Destructoid's most lovable Associate Editor, Jonathan Holmes, for interviews with his friends in the game industry. Participate in the live chat and get your questions answered]

8pm - Rad Show: Get There!
So, today Lucha will be playing some Ultimate Marvel vs.Capcom 3. What a snore fest, right? But wait, whats this!? He's playing it using a set of Rockband drums?! Now it's a Rad Show! Get there.

[Starring Johnny Luchador, Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! takes a lighthearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than accomplishing feats of skill.]
8pm - Substituted Reality
Come by, hang out, and close out the week with a bit of demon blasting action, as AwDamn fires up Doom 3: BFG Edition, and attempts to finish it off.

[Destructoid's only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

Derrick the Deathfin makes the jump to PC and Mac

Back in October, PlayStation Network got a neat-looking arcade-style game called Derrick the Deathfin that seemed to go under a lot of radars. I was hoping to see it release and do really well on Steam, but that hasn't happen...   more

Indie Nation: A Fistful of Gun

A Fistful of Gun is a combination of a classic beat-'em-up like Turtles in Time and a shoot-'em-up like Jamestown. So naturally, I'm deeming it a sheat-'em-up. No, wait, that sounds terrible. A boot-'em-up? Better, but still not that great... How about a boosh-'em-up? Yeah, I'll go with that one. A Fistful of Gun is the best goddamn boosh-'em-up of all time.    more

Review: Krunch

It's going to be tough to talk about Krunch without also mentioning games like Super Meat Boy or VVVVVV, so I'll get it out of the way now: Krunch is similar to these titles in that you will die. A lot. You will also, however...   more
