Square Enix announced details regarding the Japanese release of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS title, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and now my 3DS isn't looking so appealing anymore. You can expect the highly anticipated title to hit stores on March 29th, however no specific US launch date has yet been confirmed. You didn't think Square Enix would simply sell a Kingdom Hearts entry without making your choices difficult did you?
The game will be available in three flavors. There will be the standard release, retailing for ¥6,090 --which will include a first run bonus of an AR card that allows players to unlock an in-game Dream Eater. There will also be a special 10th anniversary package version, however the actual contents and price are still a mystery. What I have my eye on is definitely the limited edition bundle that comes with a special edition 3DS.
Personally, I really like the look of the handheld, pink with black is always a win in my book. My only wish is that there are a few additions other than the pattern on top, and that we aren't just dealing with a sticker. Are you going to start saving your munny for this adorable piece of gear, or is the Metal Gear 3DS more your thing?
