The past two weeks have seen considerable feedback from players regarding the amount of time required to combat the Pandemonium Warden, a recently implemented Notorious Monster (NM). Discussion has spread significantly throughout forums, and it has become apparent that this is indeed an issue of major unrest in the community.
We would like to assure players that the development and management teams place a high value on their feedback, and the issue has since been taken under serious consideration. Together with Absolute Virtue, it has been deemed that the combative techniques for weakening these NMs are too difficult. As a result, some players have engaged these enemies using unanticipated methods which led to extended battle times. It is by no means the desire of the development team to see players involved in encounters that require an excessive amount of time and effort to complete. It was for this reason that previous measures were put into practice which prohibited NMs from being held in battle for prolonged periods. In response to these events, we have determined that further alterations are required to prevent such battles from exceeding a certain predetermined length of time.
Included in the version update scheduled for early September will be modifications to the degree of difficulty of Pandemonium Warden (and associated pets), Absolute Virtue (and associated pets), and Jailer of Love. The aim of these changes is to create battles where a decisive outcome may be reached within a shorter period of time.
The development and management teams would like to take this opportunity to express their commitment to a healthy and wholesome game environment for players everywhere to enjoy, and to thank them for the continued feedback.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to get the You Tube video of the week up last night some things came up so made sure to get it up first thing this morning. This week's youtube video is truly . . . unique, it's funny and strange and against hacking. It was named our YouTube Video of the week due to it's total one of a kind nature so enjoy >^.^< Be Sure to check back later tonight for Flash Back Friday Where we look at the history of FFXI
On a more serious note we also have a great video of a blue mage soloing the 2-3 Dragon.
I would like to point out that the FFVault does not own or claim to own these videos they were user submitted on you tube we mainly highlight some of the ones put up throughout the week. (Sometimes we'll show old ones as well just because they are awesome)
Thats right just as the title implies todays theame is Assault we have both the Mamool Ja Training Grounds and Leujaoam Sanctum screenshots so enjoy the view >^.^<

This week's blog that we look at has been going on for a very long time. The creater of this blog, Halifirien is an adorable little taru that talks about his daily life in Vanadiel. Everything from campaign to random adventures to his newest stories on leveling pup. It's a fun little blog and I encourage everyone to take a look at this blog thats been running now for a full 4 years O.o congrats on your 4 year mile stone and keep up the stories.
With all of the talk about many hours it takes to fight HNMs such as Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden. The FFVault wants to know what you consider to be too long for HNM battles. Take into consideration that things will take less time as we get the hang of it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers when 4-hour Kirins were average, now we look at 30 minute tp burn Kirins. Perhaps SE made this knowing that eventually we will get it down to only a few hours, or perhaps they really did just over power it. Be sure to cast your vote and spread the word on how long you believe is too long for some of the biggest fights in the game.
For now here are the results of last week's poll regarding the various pod casts that are around the web and you spoke loud and clear on your favourite. congrats Pet Food Alpha!! (and be sure to check out other pod casts as well, you might be surprised) They all bring diffrent things to the community and are a great addition, keep up the awesome work everyone!!!
