As a responsible corporate citizen in respect of environment protection, ASMC continuously improves its environment such as the quality of air, land and water with an ongoing environmental management system.
ASMC focuses on managing the chemicals produced in the manufacturing process, in hope to eliminate negative impact on the environment. The company invested millions of US dollars to build sewage and air treatment systems, lowering the emission level required by the national standard.
Protecting the environment and the eco-system becomes an important culture of ASMC. In August 1998, ASMC was awarded the ISO14001 certificate. In January 2005, ASMC was awarded once again the BVQI ISO14001 certificate. It indicates that ASMC is a world leading company in environmental protection. The Company will upgrade its level in the environmental management system as required by the 2004 version (the latest version) of ISO14001 certificate.
