SESAT SATELLITES

The SESAT satellites (Siberia - Europe Satellites) provide a wide range of telecommunications services over a very large geographical coverage area that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to Eastern Russia, including a large part of Siberia. The satellites also provide broadcasting services to Africa by means of steerable spotbeams.

Facilitating the development of new markets in far eastern Europe and Africa for all types of telecommunication, broadcasting and business services, the satellites also provide full inter-connectivity with western and central Europe.

SESAT 1. Previously located at 36° East with the W4 satellite, SESAT 1 has been redeployed at 16° East where it is providing continuity of services at one of Eutelsat's most longstanding orbital positions.

SESAT 2. Located at 53° East, SESAT 2 delivers telecommunications, broadband and broadcasting services, to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and central Asia.
