In accordance with Yerevan mayor’s decision N 1843-А, dated 31.03.2009, the Department of Trade and Services of the Municipality of Yerevan develops complex programs for regulation of placement, relocation and modernization of temporary facilities of trade and service sector, located on avenues and streets of Yerevan, continues stocktaking of temporary facilities, detects unauthorized and illegal facilities, and presents relevant proposals. For ensuring application of the RA law “On trade and Services” the Department executes adequate control over activities of local self-government institutions, arranges joints checkups, and submits relevant reports on the results of investigation to the mayor of Yerevan. The Department carries our regular and systematic work for prohibition of illegal outdoor trading in the city of Yerevan, as well as for prevention of disturbance of public order by public catering enterprises and entertainment facilities in the nighttime, and for drawing up relevant reports in accordance with Article 180 of the RA Code of Administrative Violations. The Department takes necessary measures to carry out decisions of the RA government and the mayor of Yerevan on improvement of special public services system and enhancement of operations effectiveness.
Works for improvement of cemeteries are continued in 2009: AMD 88623.0 thousands will be allocated from the RA state budget for improvement of cemeteries “Spandaryan” and “Shengavit”. Plans (schemes) are developed for use of lands allotted for open cemeteries of Yerevan. The Department continues coordination and control of measures for neutralization of stray animals.
