Rising Star Application Form 
AUDITIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. We will accept application forms in the Junior Vocal, Junior Dance and Youth Dance divisions. Please email Vicki at vmckinney@theex.com or call 416-263-3807 if you would like more information. You will have to UPLOAD your audition video on to youtube. There are no live auditions. Accept and/or regret letters will be sent out towards the end of June.
NEW THIS YEAR! 1. Video Submissions Required for Auditions In order to qualify for an audition, applicants MUST submit a performance video by posting video on You Tube. There will be Grand Champion Awards presented in two categories at the 2010 CNE: PLEASE NOTE: 3. Auditions will NOT take place in Shopping Malls in 2010 Please also note that Rising Star auditions will NOT be taking place in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) shopping malls this year. 38th Annual Ambassador of the Fairs 
Congratulations to Angela Curtis of the Ilderton Agricultural Society as the winner of the 38th annual Ambassador of the Fairs Competition. Over 70 young men and women aged 18 to 25, winners of local fairs across Ontario, competed in the final round of the three-day competition held in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Sunday, August 23. Finalists showcased their poise, self-confidence and knowledge of Canadian agriculture and, after much deliberation, the judges were proud to announce Angela as this year's winner. First Runner-up: Jennara Field - Glencoe Agricultural Society
The Cat Show August 28 & 29th - 10 am to 5 pm ----- Cafe Soleil, Direct Energy Centre 
Let the sun shine in as our fine feline friends convene at the 2010 CNE on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th for the 40th Annual Cat Show. From 10 am in the morning to 5 pm in the evening, more than 125 cats from across Ontario will be showcased in display and in competition.

EXpress Yourself Art Competition
Open to youth aged 13 to 24 
A project of the CNE's volunteer Youth Advisory Group, the new EXpress Yourself Art Competition is now open! Youth aged 13 to 24 are invited to enter their work in any of the following media: Photography, Drawings, Paintings, Sculptures or Videos. The winner in each of the four categories receives a $500 cash prize! Categories:
