Improving the quality of football is the ultimate objective
of the Technical Department. To this end, football experts observe
and analyse games and training
sessions. Experienced instructors pass on these findings to
coaches and interested parties all around the world as part of the
course programme, which is intended to help create and improve
structures at individual member associations in the areas of
coaching instruction and player development. FIFA also
endeavours to improve
the quality of the game with technical improvements to the
playing surface and material, through a licensing system.
