The couple will go up and down the country to meet extraordinary parents as part of the drive.

Peter says of the campaign: 'I’m so excited to be celebrating parents’ unique super powers. As parents to our wonderful bunch of children, we need to know every trick in the book and are more than happy to share our hidden talents with Britain. I can’t wait to see all the amazing skills that British parents possess!'

Emily adds: 'I’m really looking forward to working alongside Pete and partnering with npower on such a fantastic project. Having just had a baby myself, I’m always on the lookout for parenting hints and tips! We’ve all got something unique to celebrate that makes us great parents, no matter how big or small, and everyone should be proud of their talents.'

The drive comes as they couple have revealed the extent of the terrifying labour Emily went through to have their son at the end of November.

She reveals that doctors feared she would need a hysterectomy as her son was breeched.

Emily tells The Sun Online: 'There was a moment when the obstetrician said to me that one of the risks was there are times they have to perform a hysterectomy after the Caesarean if there is loads of bleeding.

'And I thought, "Oh my god I didn’t even think about that." You have to process the information and you have to go and have the C-section, obviously it’s very rare but you suddenly think, "Wow they might have to do that."'

Peter adds to the website that it was one of the 'scariest' moments of their lives, explaining: 'I was worried seeing her go through something so traumatic and you’re not taking care, the doctor is... when you’re in that moment and have that fear, it’s the scariest thing in your life, but Emily is always so calm.'

In his column for New! Magazine, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker previously revealed that he had to step up with the care of the couple's daughter Amelia.

Struggle: Emily was left needing rest and recuperation after the birth due to needing a C-section

The couple welcomed baby Theo on Novemer 22, but the birth didn't go to plan with Emily having to have an emergency cesarean because the baby was breech.

In his new column Pete writes of his wife: 'She's recovering well but she can't do things like lift Mills, which I think is what Mills has found the hardest, so I've had to take on a much more prominent role at the moment with her.'

The dad of four adds that the couple will have to put plans for more kids on the back burner for now, explaining:

'I was asked if I'd like her to be pregnant again by the end of 2017, but I'd rather it be sooner. But she's just gone through a major op, so that's the last thing she's thinking about.'

While the birth was less than straightforward, the couple are now enjoying life with their new addition, and Peter has revealed he was keen to treat Emily to an extravagant 'push present.'

'I wanted to buy Emily a present for giving me our beautiful son, so I bought her a diamond-encrusted Gucci watch,' the singer revealed. 'When I gave it to her, I told her, "You better love me now!"'

Taking to Instagram on Christmas Day, the singer uploaded a snap of Theodore receiving a kiss from older brother Junior Savva – Peter’s 11-year old son with ex wife Katie Price.

Captioning the image, he wrote: ‘T catching a kiss from J.’

Let's celebrate: Peter was joined by his loved ones for a colourful Hawaiian themed New Year’s Eve party in Emily's home county of Somerset

Speaking to OK! magazine about his love for little Theo, he said: 'I was bawling my eyes out at the birth – it was my dream to have another boy.’

He added: ‘I love him so much, he’s such a chilled baby. He’s my mini-me.’

Emily, 27, who is a doctor, revealed the birth did not go how she had hoped but said it was important for her to put the baby's health first.

She said: ‘I was so upset that I had to have a Caesarean, but it was too dangerous not to.

Here's two I made earlier:  The singer is also a parent to son Junior Savva and daughter Princess Tiaamii with ex-wife Katie Price as well as daughter Amelia, two, with Emily
