New transport role for Meleri

One hundred children have successfully completed a summer reading game at Llandrindod Wells library.

'The Reading Mission' challenged children to read six different books from the library over the school holidays. The spy-themed adventure saw children collect a set of stickers or game sheet for every book read. All successful participants were awarded a certificate and a medal.

Results from Adult Abuse: No Excuse street surveys

Survey results

Over 100 people in Powys have not heard of abuse of vulnerable adults, according to a survey conducted by an adult protection committee.

Street surveys, organised by the Powys Adult Protection Committee, took place in Brecon, Newtown, Welshpool and Ystradgynlais on World Elder Abuse Day in June along with a follow up survey in Llandrindod Wells to find out how much people know about adult abuse....


New Location for Tourism Office in Llanidloes
