IJMESS Policy

IJMESS is a double blind peer-reviewed, quarterly journal that publishes original papers in the area of management, economics and social sciences. IJMESS appreciate the papers if they address broad methodological, theoretical, or comparative issues and contributions to theory (see scope of IJMESS). Authors can submit manuscripts to the editor for consideration as ARTICLES, REVIEWS, REPORTS and CASE STUDIES.

The editor reserve the right to reject (with or without blind peer review), or return for revision, any material submitted on the grounds of inappropriate subject matter for the scope of the journal, or on the grounds of poor quality or of excessive length. Manuscripts may also be returned for reformatting when they do not comply with the journals' style provisions.

Before a manuscript can be published in journal, the author must submit written permission from anyone whose unpublished works (e.g., papers presented at meetings, and personal communications) are cited or used in the paper in question. (Faxes of such permissions, or e-mails originating from the person whose permission is needed, will be adequate proof.) For multi-authored papers, the communicating author must submit written evidence that all co-authors are willing to release for publication the draft accepted by the journal editor.

IJMESS follows the basic publishing standards, its editorial content, Timeliness of publication and encourages the international diversity of its authorship. For further information or inquiry, authors are advised to contact the Editor at editor@ijmess.com

Note: This Journal publishes a limited number of articles per issue. The selection of articles for double blind-peer review is purely based on innovative work, novelty of idea and quality of reporting the research.

Disclaimer: IJMESS makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the published content. However, Publisher, Editors and Board members bear no responsibility for the accuracy of the published articles. The views expressed in this journal are the views of the authors and are not of publisher or editors.

Everyone knows that plagiarism is something to be avoided, but not everyone is sure precisely what it is. Plagiarism is a specific form of cheating which is almost wholly found in respect of course assignments completed by students independently. According to the University of Greenwich plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

1. Using published work without referencing (the most common).
2. Copying coursework essays.
3. Collaborating with any other person when the work is supposed to be individual.
4. Taking another person's computer file/program.
5. Submitting another person's work as one's own.
6. The use of unacknowledged material published on the web.
7. Purchase of model assignments from whatever source.
8. Copying another student's results.
9. Falsifying results.

IJMESS has very strict policy about plagiarism. We scan each submitted manuscript for plagiarism, if your work is plagiarized, the manuscript will be rejected and the nature of action taken by IJMESS depends upon the level of plagiarism (see IJMESS Terms and Conditions). The authors of articles are solely responsible for a plagiarized work because author is the copyright holder of his work and plagiarism is harmful for the reputation of researchers. All the copyrights/ plagiarism issues, if found in published articles, should be reported to IJMESS via "contact us" form. Publisher reserves the right to remove such material from journal website or issue an expression of concern/ correction.

All authors (corresponding author and/ or co-authors) should be in full compliance with ethical and legal requirements outlined in these submission terms and conditions:
a) Authors are required to indicate their consent to the submission terms and conditions in the “Letter to the Editor” and by accepting these when they submit manuscript via online submission form or email.
The consents are permanently recorded by the publisher.

c) Where an author is unable to comply with any provision the publisher should be informed in “Letter to the Editor”.
