A Virtual Console game purchased on the Wii Shop is not showing a discounted price ($1.00 for NES titles, $1.50 for SNES titles) in the Nintendo eShop.
What to do:
- Verify that you are looking at the price on the Nintendo eShop on the Wii U. (How to) The price will not be discounted in the Wii Shop (on either the Wii or Wii U systems).
- To qualify for the discounted version, the Wii version of the game must first be either:
- Purchased on the Wii Shop on Wii U, or
- Purchased on the Wii and then transferred to the Wii U system
- If the game was originally purchased in the Wii Shop on a Wii system, complete the transfer process to transfer it to the Wii U. (How to)
Still Not Resolved:

Situation:
- A message appears when accessing the Nintendo eShop stating that the Nintendo eShop is currently not available in the country selected in the System Settings.
Important Note!
- After changing the country setting, the User Agreements must be accepted to access the Nintendo eShop.
