This game is Awesome! But such a waste when you play on the lowest difficulty like this guy just stabbing his way to the missions without using the numerous tactical commands at your disposal which is really what makes this game so awesome.

Dude I fucking loved the multiplayer in this game. I played it on PC from like 4th grade to to 7th grade and I became a mulitplayer fucking pro. I had my controls customized and shit. It was just such a fun game. Especially getting the rocket launcher and using the switchgrenade command.

God this game is amazing, the campaign is inspiring; some game suggestions are: Star Ocean: The Second Stage [1998] and Actraiser II [1993].
It's interesting and I believe will be another sandbox hit like Age of Wushu, which many people are following now.
If you want to enjoy super visual effects, you should try Age of Wushu. Eastern classic aesthetics.
@wusaier I question your concept of "super visual effects" considering that the graphics in Age of Wushu are subpar at best and the animations aren't any better than the animations of other MMOs, especially considering they don't have any actual meaning.
The only unique thing AoW offers is its minigames (which range from tons of fun team practice to a horrendous taken on guitar hero). and jumping.
I almost like everything in Star Wars, except for the films, which is somewhat ironic. This was a fantastic game, and while I only beat it twice around the time I played it at launch, I actually do go back to it for a few hours once in a while. I bought it on Xbox long after I originally played it, and I got it on Steam; I never beat it again though. They could totally update this game and it'd still feel great. This is one of those games that needs a sequel, along with Freedom Fighters and have have you.

Comic gold. I wish Danny would stop calling in to work sick, this is the only Gamespot show I can stand watching. Well, that and 'Falling in Love With Lara/Chivalry'...
The sequel should be Star Wars Imperial Commando. It would take place between episodes 3 and 4 and you'd be hunting down the last of the Jedi.

also Danny you should play "Dark Messiah Might and Magic" ^^ many good moments with freezes the ground and watching orcs fall to thier face! :D
@dannyodwyer @Hjindee yeah that game is one of the better games of this world, even if some will argue the story was kinda meh. Let's be serious....ROPE BOW kk. I remember it was a bugfest at lunch.

There are other great Star Wars-games such as Jedi Academy, Dark Forces, Dark Forces 2, Jedi Outcast, and Star Wars KOTOR.
@_Judas_ Don't forget the Super Star Wars games on SNES. They were pretty great even if they were about the hardest games I've ever played.
Whoa whoa whoa HOLD UP. You can ADS in this game??! I played Republic Commando way back when and never aimed down my blaster's sights unless it was a sniper scope.

@MarcusFeelius I don't think there is any better Star Wars game than Jedi Academy, which was the very essence of the Star Wars universe from the viewpoint of the only interesting and unique thing about Star Wars, the Jedi and Sith.

2 Like One of my favourite star wars game of all time. This, kotor and battlefront all deserves sequels or at the very least a hd reboot in my opinion
