well done Gamespot, despite the hilarious delivery, we are still getting journalism here. Can anyone imagine Edge magazine having the integrity to abandon it's Sony ass licking and describe Playstation controller triggers as utter bollocks?

I don't know why people keep calling it a "touch screen".
I really don't think it's a touch screen unless it's a screen you touch.
People don't call the thing under the keys on a laptop a "touch screen".
2 Like So al those DLC I bought, All those Add ons and all thos ps1 and ps2 games where for nothing cause im not able to carry them on to ps4. Man... All my money to be slap in the face and charge probably 500 to 600 dollars for something not more advance that a PC....
@LeonsKnnedy at least you probably still don't have to pay 40 - 50 pound per year to be able to play online. Face it, you would be getting shafted if you where to go with the new xbox just like the xbox of this gen and the xbox of the gen before.
@LeonsKnnedy Retro Compatiblity is no business for sony, they wont give you that function because they can make more Money re selling you HD colections and other selections or enhanced versions of games you alredy bought. I will keep my ps3 for a long long time, there's still a lot of games in my colection that I havent play.
@LeonsKnnedy I agree it is a slap in the face and with this No Used Games rumor I don't think i will through anymore money away on PlayStation. My self I will just stick to my PC and Wii U
@CrazyOldCracker @LeonsKnnedy They've already said that it will support used games. Regarding the stuff people bought on PS3 they keep saying that those titles aren't compatible with the new hardware but can be streamed using the "gaikai network"... granted specific games need to be added to this cloud library, which means that it deppends on a lot a variables and not every game will be available in the end!
What needs to be seen however about this cloud service is if we can play the games we've already bought without having to spend more money!

1 Like My thoughts on the conference alone was it was boring, and absolutely nothing really wowed me. Probably a 2014, 2015 buy for me. Unless E3 blows me away

Look despite what each side of fanpeople try to say, having competition drives the makers to come up with new and cool things. Neither console is perfect, each has their strengths.
Sony had a decent show, honestly i dont think they really gave away enough information about the console itself to be said to be any higher than that. There were some cool sharing aspects and some cool tools there, but they really held back with so much information, they didnt even want to show a picture of the damn console.
I dont know if MS will do better or worse, but its a fair bet that they have both been hard at work coming up with new ideas and ways to showcase their strengths and i do hope MS shows some good stuff as well. The better the competition is, the better us as the consumer get out of it all.

Some numbers on the CPU and GPU would be nice. I wasn't expecting them to reveal that bit though. I know they want microsoft to be first so that Sony can outdo them with a bit of overclocking.
Wait.. Wait... Gamespot is trying not to make it obvious what they favor more? I'm confused. I thought they were trying to hide how bias they are over sony's console. This is just plain weird, because it seems like they totally called it crap right here.. Huh...
1 Like @ZikenX It seems more like they are commenting on the presentation Sony made, not the console itself, which we really didnt get much information on, which is part of the problem.
Also you should really wait till they get the chance to say anything on the next-box. It hasn't been announced yet, they can hardly talk about it.
Please xbox fanboys stop questining what sony is going to do and face the fact that sony has planned this for 5 years according to them and they are going to destroy the already crappy image that microsoft has.Sony is pulling no punches and they are going to show the doubters who the big boy on the block is.
I think ill believe that last line when i see it, and in this part i am talking about actually seeing a picture of the Ps4. I like PS and i like my Ps3 but i was not impressed with a majority of that showing.
Gamers just want to game damnit. Stop forcing Facebook and other social media down our gaming systems! PStalker 4 is going to get eaten for breakfast by the competition.
They really liked focusing on the negative in this video. I would say out of the 15 comments they showed, 2 were positive, and the rest bashing the console. I'm sure this wont happen when there's feedback about the new Xbox.
I would be kinda cool if we could play ps one games on it. (What am I thinking. That would be AWESOME!) Smmacking myself !
