Crysis 2 is one of the best multiplayer fps I have ever played, its very dynamic when deliberately using the nanosuit and all its coolness. The game is like halo but more realistic in terms of weight and feel of the character providing a very accurate feeling of being a badass. The trick is to get out of the COD mindset and have fun. There is nothing like Crysis on the market and i am looking forward to Crysis 3.

played it, this game requiers better players, it was way, WAY too easy... people don't have the slightest idea on how to use the suit properly. i think it won't be successful, because this game simply doesn't mesh well with people who think in a very singular manner like they do in just about well... any other game?
Crysis 3 is a great improvement in pace over the other, but it's a game that requiers a really adaptive players, which from what you can see from the GS repalys, is virtually nobody...
Man this game looks awful, played it yesterday on the ps3 and it hurt my eyes ( and ears too).
I think what will make this game is the Open World experience in single player. I, for one, didn't buy Crysis 2 for its multiplayer so I am hoping the open world Crysis 3 is as good as it sounds, especially with the new bow. Looking forward to that. I did play 1 round on the beta this morning and it definitely feels the same as Crysis 2.

Yuck. Playing Crysis 2 and 3 on the consoles is like listening to good music through a shitty radio.
@Fandango_Letho Hey clown, this gameplay is on a PC, you can tell by the clunky aiming, and when he goes to the menu, there is a mouse. I'm guessing you didn't watch this and decided to post something illogical and not true, besides the game looks fine on a console who cares about graphics its about the gameplay.
Played it last night hoping for a single player trial! and I got to say...jeez that was not a fun game... hell at points I was mostly guessing who I was shooting was the opposite team.
And that ghost hunter mode...wwwhat?!

I just came here to comment that the soldier on the right in the main page banner looks like a Storm/Clone Trooper from Star Wars. His helmet. Minus the white color.
Have you seen Danny O'dwyer (odwayer? odwier? whatever) playing Quake 3 in a rail gun map?

@AirDog80 @s2i2p2i2o @robbiejones @nicolasetespqr It's an fps. You can aim in one you can aim in another. there are some mechnics in every game that are different, but the basics are always the same. Especially for fps-games.
@s2i2p2i2o @robbiejones @nicolasetespqr It's a greater problem with the mechanics of journalism. Journalists cover a lot of "stuff." In this case stuff is games. That means, often times, you don't have enough time dedicated to any one thing in order to get really good at it. We literally downloaded the beta and went live. We will have more in depth gameplay for starter guides and the review. Thanks for the feedback.
@robbiejones @s2i2p2i2o @nicolasetespqr Oooh, that bull. Might be true to some extent, but I have had plenty of gaming sessions split-screen with friends + beer+chips and still played better than this. But yeah, to some extent, what you're saying is probably true.
@s2i2p2i2o @nicolasetespqr you have to keep in mind that they are talking to one another and are just showing the game to us the audiance. We at home can relax more and think more etc
I hope the 360 versions isn't indicative of the final product from a visual perspective, it's absolutely mediocre. I mean, say what you will about PC being better than console, while Crysis 2 on consoles had some nasty bugs, it looked leaps and bounds better than this beta. I hope it's because it's a beta, and not because that's what Crytek could come up with for the third game in the trilogy; I'd be really disappointed. I also don't think people are seeing it correctly, I mean, go back to Crysis 2, or even the original Crysis on console, and then play the beta for Crysis 3.
It's not that it's 'showing its age', it's just that the beta doesn't look good. I'm not into the MP, so I just hope hope HOPE that the campaign looks better than this. That's all I have to say. I know it seems shallow to say such a thing because it's about graphics, but I do have certain expectations. No disrespect to you guys, but why wasn't Kevin playing this instead? I'm guessing it's because he was busy, but still, it would have made a little more sense since he reviewed it and to hear his reaction over it would have been a little more interesting. Sorry if that sounds mean, that's not my intention. You guys did fine, I as just saying though.
@NTM23 It is mediocre and all games will be mediocre as long as making profit is the main cause, like in all the things. It's made to fit cheap 6 years old consoles and cheap PCs. This is nothing other than Crysis 2 with different maps. An expansion pack for crysis 2 actually. They are building 6 years old hardware and they are still selling it, and for worse, gaming industry is following them, only to make PROFIT. And the children today... they eat pretty much whatever you give to them, so... here is a 6 years old console game... oh wait, convert it for a PC so the old fellas can torrent it and crack it, because we want 60 euros earned for every sold game, and no idiot with a PC is going to pay for that EVER, because it's not worth it these days at all, so lets focus on consoles, they crack for them a little bit less.
@Bubreg @NTM23 Crysis 3 is made for cheap PCs and consoles? WTF are you on? The engine is quite a step up from Crysis 2. It won't show in a multiplayer or a beta, both of which this is. Go watch a video of the singleplayer gameplay or the tech demonstration they gave at a conference. This game is obviously going to perform poorly on consoles because it was primarily built to utilise the latest in PC hardware.

the bald guy sucks majorly. his comments are pretty irritating, and his fascination with pogo sticks is really annoying. the curly haired guy sounds cool though.

this is what I don't get people are so excited for the game. Im trying to like this but it looks really boring. hmm I'll never get first person shooters.
Played the Crysis MP Alpha when they offered it....was fun. Found out that they're charging 80 for the whole deal and considering that I have all of the Crysis series already but this, I said screw that.
