Anyone who plays a game on less than hard is a noob ne way. Also DS2 not scary they were heading towards and action game the whole time. DS1 only scary b/c it was a new concept, now that the game is like 5 years old or some shit so its not scary. That would be like being afraid of your dog who you lives with.
Playing DS3 and loving it. And if you dont have scare moments with this game i dont know what could scare you folks. You, alone in the dark space, fighting for your life in a 200 years old space ship graveyard filled with necros, your chick with another mate. Dude this is a nighmare.
One think that wasn't mentioned in this episode was the fact that the emphasis taken away from horror and being placed on action is probably a result of the evolution of the character. One of the main traits of horror is that the protagonist generally plays the struggling victim against a very intimidating, nearly unstoppable enemy. In DS & DS2 Isaac found himself thrown into situations out of his hands and began an uphill struggle against the odds. In DS3 he takes the fight to them. This simple shift in personal motivation and narrative direction makes a huge difference on how the story is told. It has to. You may not like where it the series is going but you should definitely consider these facts when forming your opinion on the game.
How do I keep missing every other episode of this great show! Good thing this is the internet. I take it by the haircut Johnny is a huge Rihanna fan.
If DS3 was the first game in the series, there never would of been a DS3.
It would of been a one-game franchise.
Wasn't sure about Gamespot at first, then I watched this. Hilarious! I watched all the episodes before I knew what happened. I'm not sure why, but stupidity comforts me. It's like a lullaby of bad grammar, swearing, and off-color humor.

Was actually surprised with Dead Space 3...
It was a better game than the 2nd.
It was never an horror game for me, it was always an action game with some horror elements.
Pacing and graphics in this one are great.
This show was very funny and entertaining. Dead Space 3 almost crashed and exploded into million pieces. I am lucky that I Pre Order without watching the reviews. It was an enjoyable game. 8 out of 10 games are holding a lot of weight this days. Is funny how other crappier games get game of the year.

@SpLiTMaN There's a pretty decent leap in graphics quality from the first to the second one. The improvements from the second to the third were a little more subtle though. At least the differences on consoles is pretty noticable. Might be different on pc though.
You guys have practically NAILED the voices. Props to the guy who did Proximaxx, makes me LOL every time. Keep it up!

cant understand everyone getting getting all bent out of shape about this. If you dont like it dont buy it, but dont sit there and whine about how you are never going to buy it.....do you honestly think the publisher/developer cares about your opinion? in truth most of them dont even care about the paying customers just where the next money making title is coming from, after all most only make these games for the money.

@NINEINCH-Tool some companies are far superior to others, for example when Valve got a lot of negative feedback they chose a handfull of players who critisised them and flew them out to Valve HQ to talk to them and show around, they generally got treated like VIP's which is how it should be.

@qewretrytuyiuoi very nice. So if you're loud enough you get the treatment...I think in this case the paying customers (I'm excluding children who fuel the industry with their parents' money) should collectively stall buying new games until big western companies get the point.

I played the demo of the first DS. It was a shooter and that's why I never bothered with the DS series.
@CaptainBerserk technically it is.if you break the game down any game that requires you shoot enemies is a shooter.its things like puzzles and the like that separate this game from other shooters that just rely on you running around shooting only.batman arkam city is technically a streetfighter type game but its the other other elements in the game makes it more than just a streetfighter type game.

Dead space 3 is okay you know, it's not like EA ruined the series. it's too action-oriented and the story is absolutely ridiculous but the action is fun to play and the weapon crafting is an absolute beauty.. but no scares which is a shame

Well I'm stumped? Every game these days seems to take some sort of bashing weather it be PC or console , there is always some miserable bastard voicing his daily Dipper/Nappy change! Then people get all defensive when you start whacking their ye olde love length about "your PC/Console is shit". Are game that bad these days? For me I am a PC fanatic, but games today are just leaving me cold either on PC or console, and these comments seem to be providing the proof!
Games today are either clones or unoriginal... Bring back the golden era of PC gaming!
@vongroove um. The only reason we get original elements in some new games once in a while is because there is so much money in gaming. Otherwise I agree with you. Originality is dead.
