HR Solutions received its operating charter and new leadership in a July 18th ceremony at Ft. Knox, KY.  Mr. Brent Thomas accepted the charter in an Assumption of Charter ceremony hosted by Mr. Reginald Bagby, the Assistant Program Executive Officer Enterprise Information Systems, and assumed the responsibilities as HR Solutions Project Director.

Brent Thomas retired from the US Army in 2010 as a lieutenant colonel. He has held numerous positions within the Army Acquisition Corps throughout his Army career, including Technical/Project Manager for two Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration projects. He has served as the HR Solutions Operations Manager since October 2010.

Mr. Bagby expressed his absolute confidence in Mr. Thomas’ ability to lead the program reflecting, “HR Solutions is a very successful model program for the Army.  One of the program’s greatest attributes is that it provides crucial human resource services to our Soldiers and their Families.” 

Brent Thomas thanked Mr. Bagby for the opportunity to lead the organization and said that he looks forward to the challenges his new position and charter will bring. Mr. Thomas also commended the HR Solutions staff for their efforts in providing human resource services support to commanders and senior Army leaders worldwide.  Thomas encapsulated his vision for HR Solutions indicating that he wants to build on HR Solutions’ reputation as the Army’s one-stop-shop for streamlined human resource services and to establish the program office as the Army’s premier  choice in obtaining these types of services.“

The new charter enables HR Solutions to move forward in its mission to provide Commanders and Senior Leaders the most efficient, cost effective and predictable human resource contracted services, with a significantly shorter period of time to award.
