About HR Solutions
In today's contentious world, United States command staff and military personnel are often over-subscribed with competing demands for their time and attention. In 2004, the United States Army proudly launched HR Solutions to simplify the acquisition of human resource (HR) services.

Located in the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), HR Solutions streamlines the acquisition of human resource services for the Army through a competitive, efficient, standardized, and well-managed process. HR Solutions, through its multi-functional staff and secure web-based portal, assists the Army and other selected agencies with full life-cycle contract support. From preparing a performance work statement, to organizing all supporting documentation throughout the process, HR Solutions provides administrative and support services to Soldiers and their Families at installations throughout the world in four mission areas.

HR Solutions is a premier example of how the United States Army is offering full life-cycle contracting support while transforming its business practices to ensure quality and predictability in services to military personnel and their Families.

How does HR Solutions work?
Multiple HR Solutions prime contractors have been vetted through a competitive process and bid on performance work statements that are prepared with the assistance of the HR Solutions staff and secure online portal. After the requirement has been awarded, the online portal is used to document the management of the requirement, such as tracking:
  • MIPRs
  • Requirement modifications
  • In-progress reviews (IPR)
The entire process, from bid to award, is completed within approximately 30-45 days - making the process simple and efficient.
