Storm's Adventure with Saints Row: The Third
Finally catching up with most of the holiday 2011 titles that I cared about, Saints Row: The Third comes into my life to brighten my day. It isn't as colorful as Saints Row 2...or as crazy...or as funny...or as expansive...or as good.........but trust me, it's a must play! Also, you're tearing me apart, Lisa! Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I'm always baffled when people talk about how SR2 was better, SR3 executes the best ideas from SR2 in a superior way and trims all the unnecessary fat. Its a leaner experience for sure, but its a far better one. sorry bros, but I liked saints row 2 city and story a lot better.

I agree on how great SR2 was. Haven't played the Third yet but I definitely will. ... Tommy Wiseau is still with Machinima? Given how his show tanked after... one episode I'm surprised they'd touch him with a 10 foot pole. Saints Row was an awful GTA clone. Though, it's not necessarily awful as far as clones go. GTA is just a boring fucking series with a formula that everyone, Rockstar included, has run into the ground. 2 took it to another level, made the respect system less obnoxious, and improved some of the basic mechanics, made the side quests less time consuming and a bit less tedious and boring. 3 just took the ridiculousness and launched it through the stratosphere, Making the game incredibly entertaining throughout without being bogged down by bland mission structures, OK mechanics, forgettable set pieces, and ok plot.
