It's no secret among any of our readers that some of our staff are quite enamored of From Software's Dark Souls. Naturally, we were thrilled to get our hands on the new content that debuted as the Prepare to Die Edition on PC and was later released on consoles as a download called Artorias of the Abyss. The content takes players back in time to explore one of the most fascinating portions of the mythology through a lengthy and incredibly atmospheric series of new locations. A fresh new setting, all-new music, and some new toys, both magical and mundane, fill out the experience, along with some absolutely awesome and challenging new boss fights. Any lover of Dark Souls owes it to themselves to take a trip into Manus' Abyss.
As if The Witcher 2 needed to be enhanced. CD Projekt is too good to its fans. With the Enhanced Edition, they brought us new quests, new cinematics, new cut scenes, and even an extended ending. Consider the number of bug fixes and other minor changes, and you have the most absurdly polished version of one of last year's best games – all for free.
