Enter a world of majesty and wonder! Concoct spells dreamed of only in your most glittering fantasy! Feel like a bigger fanny than you ever thought you could be with Wonderbook, Sony's answer to the EyePet! Oh, wait ...
Anyway, here's a new trailer for Wonderbook's first and only announced title, Book of Spells. Watch gormless kids pull astonished faces that they were paid to pull, and marvel as a dragon sort-of-flies around the screen a bit.
We're taking bets, incidentally, on how many titles Wonderbook will eventually support. 2:1 odds on "less than five."
Anyway, this looks like dull garbage. It's aimed at young children, but I have decided to make fun of it anyway. Because I can, and because it's easy.
No Jim you're wrong. This is going to be like everything else Sony does: it's not going to be marketed at all by Sony, and then when the first wonderbook inevitable flops, they'll stop making them.
