Album DescriptionCurrent Biography • Liner Notes

A fantastic ride starting with the balls-to-the-wall melodic punkrock of the debut EP “Visions” to songs from the final album “State Of Flow”. 24 songs including two brand new songs and a newly recorded version of the GANG GREEN classic “Alcohol”. Fantastic comp telling the NFAA story.

Rocking Swedes bow out in style

Before the whole world went insane over The Hives, No Fun At All were probably Sweden’s best known punk group with their melodic skate-punk making serious waves alongside compatriots Millencolin. Anyway, they’ve split up now and we’re left with this 24track retrospective that reminds you that actually, NFAT were a bloody good band. Sure, they weren’t reinventing the wheel or anything – the lies of ‘Celestial Q&A;’ rock out in a definite Bad Religion style – but they did it with a hell of a lot of style. Pretty much every track here is a top-notch slab of breakneck fast skate-punk, right through to the bands’ last recordings ‘Aftermath’ and ‘Lovely Ordeal’. Topped off with a raucous cover of Gang Greens ‘Alcohol, ‘Master Celebrations’ is a worthwhile epitaph to a cracking band.   Read Full Review >>

Now-defunct melodi-punks wave goodbye.

ARGUABLY SWEDEN`S answer to Bad Religion, No Fun At All managed toevolve a brilliant blend of pop sensibilities and punk rock fury over four albums and a clutch of Eps before calling it a day late in 2001. Having never amassed more than a cult following on these shores, “Master Celebrations” is a fitting epitaph that will, with any luck, convert a few latecomers.
With a comprehensive track- Listing taking in everything from 1995’s career best “Out Of Bounds”to the more memorable moments from the otherwise lacklustre “State
Of Flow” swansong, there´s much to savour here. Even the obligatory tacked-on unreleased material doesn´t dissapoint, No Fun At All signing-off in style with a buzzing
cover of Gang Green´s “Alcohol”. A genuine case of all killer, no filler, then.
