Villains are often the standout characters in any work of fiction because, whereas the heroes are typically clean-cut and bland, villains don't impose any limits on themselves. They can be as d*ckish as they want and don't take smack from anyone. One of my most memorable lines from Super Mario Bros. Super Show was when Koopa reneged on a deal with Toadstool and said, "One of the nice things about being evil is... you get to lie a lot."

On that note, here are some exclusive pages from the upcoming Sonic Universe issue #39, arriving in comic shops on April 18. Following up on the events from last month, Eggman has tracked his traitorous assistant / nephew Snively to the Dragon Kingdom, a Chinese-like region of Mobius. Snively wants to rescue the Iron Queen, a technomage who Snively recently helped place as ruler over the Eggman Empire after the doctor had a psychological breakdown. Of course, Eggman is feeling better now and doesn't want a repeat.

He's got a ninja clan under his control and wants to legionize them, basically turn them into a cyborg army. A proud clan, the ninjas refuse, but Eggman basically has them all by the balls and is forcing them to do it anyway. 'Cause he walks on the scene and gets business done. That's how he rolls.

Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)

is video GAME news slowing down lately? im seeing more and more and more video game themed media over actual game coverage/footage/news. oh well.
For the love of god, his name is Robotnik.
sorry, that prob came off a little catty.
not complaining, just making an observation. but then i realized you post a lot more about game media than the others.
SnooPING AS usual I see...
@fetusmilk

Did you happen to miss every single one of my PAX previews?
Dat Eggman is one smooth Sob
i remember reading about Guacamelee, but didnt see the others :(

but then you have to admit, its a game event. and a LOT of your posts before pax were not game footage or previews of games etc.
which is when i realized you mostly post media stuff as i went back to check your posts.
also, nohomo.... i really really really miss your off-brand games....
@fetusmilk

Is there a problem with my posting stuff that isn't directly related to games you can play? Because there doesn't seem to be a reason to specifically point that out unless it's to cast it in a negative light.

I personally feel it's incredibly important to examine the FANDOM side of gaming, to see how it directly affects the lives of gamers. It's every bit as important as the games themselves. If all people wanted was plain ol' news, they could subscribe to company newsletters and press releases.
I want an excuse to post this, SO THIS'LL DO

Also did they every get rid of the whole "furry" thing? Last time I checked the comic sonic makes the game sonic look like sonichu in terms of friend count.
PINGASS
Robotnik! He makes robots for god's sake!
Robotnik! He makes robots for god's sake!
Japanese name is Eggman
English name is Eggman
Sonic Generations: "Robotnik? No one calls me that anymore!"
Hes called Eggman.
when did i say it was a problem? once again gamers jumping to conclusions based on what they THINK i meant.
if you go back and read my comments i never said it was a bad thing. i was making an observation. its seems like youre the one taking it negatively.

me - "not complaining, just making an observation. but then i realized you post a lot more about game media than the others."

again , doesnt sound like i think its a problem.
His name was always Eggman. They simply changed it to Robotnik in America. He hasn't been Dr. Robotnik since like 1997. Get over it.
Uh...Jinxed? Could you at least check Wikipedia before making up random facts? Sonic *IS* a Japanese creation. Made by Japanese people. In Japan. Not sure how to make that any clearer.
