Scribblenauts drops an 'Unlimited Object Editor' trailer

Chris Carter, Editor

My little cousin is going to be so stoked for this new Scribblesnot game. Not only is it confirmed as a November 18th launch title, but it also utilizes the GamePad as an essentially super-charged DS screen to tailor the game to your liking.

It'll also use the upgraded Objectnaut engine, and utilize the Object Editor. With said Object Editor, you can create items yourself, and customize already existing objects to make your own tools.

You'll have three choices for Scribblenauts Unlimited -- PC, 3DS, or Wii U (yep, PC!). Just don't forget that pre-order bonus!

Oh, and I almost forgot: if you're an H.P. Lovecraft fan, you do not want to watch this trailer.

Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)

Whether or not this is good depends on if they can nail the controls. From the gameplay demo I saw at e3, it looked like it was plagued by the issues that ruined the first. You try to touch an object and max runs in the opposite direction and jumps up and down and then equips the wrong object, all while being attacked by an angry horse
Oh Dang. This looks pretty good actually. Might pick it up after all.
That is pretty damn sweet and I got a Little Big Planet vibe from it; however, this game has now already become rated R.
This should have the ability to download "item sets" off of other people to make it worth.

Can you imagine downloading a "Mario Pack" off the internet and suddenly a whole bunch of Mario Series characters can be summoned on a whim?
Can't wait for this. I'll be getting the PC version, though I've seen no indication yet whether the PC version will be launching at the same time as the other versions. The PC version isn't even up for pre-order on Gamestop yet, as far as I can tell. Not that I plan on getting it from Gamestop.

Not that it matters if I have to wait a while I guess, this is gonna be a pretty crowded Fall/Winter of gaming for me considering I've already got Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3 and Hitman: Absolutions pre-ordered
Fast news day huh?
getting on wii u
I like how he cries at the end lol.
Unlimited eh...... that sounds like a challenge..... one I don't think Scribblenauts is going to win ^.^
Clownthulhu is going to give me nightmares.
I tried it out at Fan Expo in Toronto this summer. Controls are flawless. HUGE improvement over the original. The menu system for navigating around took more getting used to than it should have, but by all means, it wasn't bad. I really enjoyed it.
On that note, children are so un-original. I scoffed as little kids tried playing and put in stuff like "Cat", "Boat", their name, and even "iPhone" (seriously?). When I hopped on, it was giant dancing rabbis and pirates fighting flying evil tiny purple hippos all around!
Once again though the game suffers from being a pure distraction of itself lol. I didn't try to beat any of the missions. I mean, at first I was like "Okay, I gotta play this mission, not create the world." 5 minutes later...(refer to my last comment for what I created.)
