On this very special episode of Sundays with Sagat, we have two very special guests. As you might have guessed, it's very special.
This video was created without the solicitation or any prior planning on the part of the Sundays with Sagat team (me). I just opened up my email, and BAM, there it was. While this is the first time that the series has been graced by the presence of Kyo Kusanagi (and his fetching companion), I certainly hope it's not the last. I'd love for him to be a part of the Sundays with Sagat reboot that's planned for mid-September. It could lead to chaos, but I'm willing to put all my cards on the table if it means marking the millennium with match like that.
And be nice in the comments, guys. It's one thing to give Sagat and company a hard time, as they're usually asking for it. Kyo doesn't even know that I'm posting this. For that, and for the usual reasons, he and his friend deserve your utmost internet empathy.
@ Grimspoon- By nice, I mean both "don't be mean" and "don't make yucky comments about the girl". Felicia has been a tad grossed out by a few of the things people have said about her on the Youtube. They're all complements. They're just yucky compliments.
What Johnny Justice said. I mean, I imagine she will still get some more yucky compliments here too, just a lot less.
But yeah, this, is was amazing. I would love to see a trend of fighters from different series putting their differences aside, and talking rationally about video games.
I await the day when there is a little internet village full of videogame characters speaking their mind on the state of the gaming industry. Make it so Holmes!
Its not the ones that are over-the-top ones that I have a problem with. Let's see them make a chinaman with two buckteeth that says 'Me Rikey Flied Lice!' And see if that's a 'playful stereotype'.
Either way, let's not highjack this thread any further. We could/should discuss this elsewhere.
Sundays with Sagat is awesome and this Saturdays with Kyo tribute is awesome too! Mr. Holmes, never stop being you 'cause of the haters! You do you and others will dig you for it! Can't hate on someone for being real! #RealTalk :3
Almost every Street Fighter character is a comical parody of it's people, look at Dhalsim, look at Guile, look at Zangeif, I mean come on. Getting butthurt about it is a bit silly, and if anyone has a right to get annoyed by it it would be Indians/Hindus, El Fuerte really isn't that bad compared to Dhalsim.
Ok, i fail at commenting, i have to place all of the comment in one comment box, not a part in the upper box and a part in the lower, so here's what was in the upper one, just pretend it's somewhere before my previous comment.
"I've said this before and i'll say it again, stuff like this, stuff like this is why this site rocks."
THIS SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY, AT THE MMMMMMMATTERDOX THUUUUNDERDOOOME IT'S THE MATCH OF THE CENTURY WITH A THREE-WAY BRAWL-A-THON BETWEEN TWO TAG TEAMS AND BIG-ASS PO'ED BRIT MADE OF BRICK.
FEATURE-HNNNNNNG THE KING OF MUAAAAAAY THAAAAAI, SAAAAAAGAAAAAT!!!!! AND HIS TAG TEAM PARTNER - DON'T OGLE GUYS - THE FEROCIOUS FELINE FELICIAAAAA!!!
BUT IT WOULDN'T BE A BEATDOWN WITH OUT AN OPPOSING TEAM, AND BOY HAVE WE GOT ONE OF THOSE: AN EXTRA, EXTRA, CRISPY COMBATANT - KYOOOOO KUSANAGIIIIII!!!! AND HIS DREAM-FEEDING COMPATRIOT, MOOOOOORIGANNNNN!!!!!
BUT WHAT'S THIS, RANT FANS? A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS! IT'S THE POUND-FOR-POUND LOUDEST LIVING ANTI-SONY ACTIVIST: JIM "4.5" STERRRRRLINGGGGG!!! LOVE TO HATE HIM, VIEWERS? YOUR LUCK BECAUSE THERE'S PLENTY OF 'IM TO GO AROUND, BUT ONLY IF YOU ORDER ON PAY-PER-VIEW ON SEPTEMBER 32! BE THEREEEEE!
My wife and I could probably pull off DeeJay/ C-Viper. it would be horrible. Like horri-bad. And she probably wouldn't play along. Which actually might be pretty funny...
It would be good if you guys can get a little video-game production (sound effects, graphics, etc) values in the segments. Fighting game inspired of course!
@ Tubatic- Nothing about that sounds bad. Everything about that sounds good.
@ 3rdDimension- I've always wanted to do that, but thus far, it hasn't been possible. The next episode has a little bit in the way of special effects, but it's not the Tiger Uppercut, Buster Wolf-packed spectacle that I wish this series could be.
a good ol snk reference. and of all characters kyo. i love it. its a reference almost as obscure as sagat saying 'funk dat'... ahh... still have my cassette single of that song... legendary.... but i digress. can't wait to see more
I am loving this. First Felicia, then Morrigan. Damn, I must be in heaven. :O)
Anyway, there's only one thing that could make this better (other than the Saturdays with Kyo having Sundays with Sagat's video quality) is to gather Sagat, Kyo and the girls into the same video.

"Submitted for the approval of the Mega64 Midnight Society... my story is called... 'The Legend of Gameface!'"
Mega64 has a special "scare story" for y'all this Halloween. At seven and a half minutes in length, it's one of the group's longer videos in quite a while, but I enjoyed every second of it, "Shyamalan twist" ending and all.
