Rainbow Moon coming to PS Vita in 2013

Because people were apparently demanding it, Rainbow Moon will see its strategic role-playing way to the PS Vita. Publisher EastAsiaSoft announced in a press release today that they will be publishing the title on Sony's handheld next year.

Looks like a cute little game, but I've never been good (or patient) enough when it comes to these mechanics to have much hope of enjoyment out of it. Our review was lukewarm on the title, though it seems to have done fairly well for itself in its PS3 release and maybe it will fare better on the smaller screen, where short bursts of opportunity play reduce the risk of getting burned out. What say you?

Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)

Your manly mustache pushed me here. I have no idea what I am doing, but... that mustache out of nowhere. I know, it is horrible to leave such a comment but... that manliness! I am not going to shave today.
I play srpgs religiously and this came out in a time when 3 better srpgs came out within weeks......its just not very good.

srpgs fit on Vita. i honestly can't stomach Disgaea games on consoles but loved both PSP remakes. i have same feelings about NBA/FIFA/NHL and golf/tennis games(except for PES 2008, Pangya and Tiger Woods which i LOVED on Wii) sadly sports games on Vita turned out pretty bad so far. hopefully WiiU will get strategic gameplay in Fifa/PES via WiiUpad cause wiimote version rocked and touchscreen is just build for this.
The character design on this game looked incredibly amateurish.
I played the demo/time trial of it a month back and really enjoyed it. Haven't bought it yet just because I have too many other games to play in front of it. However, if I ever get that itch for an RPG, I'll probably pick this up.
Felt super generic and by the numbers to me, but hey, cool. Happy for those that want this.

When we last looked at State of Decay, our man Casey Baker was pretty excited. The idea of a persistent, zombie-afflicted, open world where choices matter and survivors have to literally survive? Well, sounds great in theory...   more
