The first Machete had a lot going for it. A suitably badass Trejo, a cavalcade of Lowrider driving Latinos, Michelle Rodriguez didn't die, and it was just made of pure Latin hotness. Thankfully Rodriguez is shooting for the moon with the sequel. Here is the first image of Amber Heard as Miss San Antonio (I love that she's from San Antonio because that's where I live), a badass assassin who probably uses her "assets" to seduce Machete. I don't see how that'll work though since Machete already has plenty of babes and Monsters circling him.
Better news though is that Machete Kills got picked up for distribution through Open Road Films for a 2013 release. YEEEESSS!!! I think I've understated how excited I am for this. I already can't wait for Machete Kills Again, so this needs to hurry up and be all up in me already.
