MOGA controller for Android devices now up for pre-order

The MOGA system for Android is one of the more interesting products of its kind to come forward, and although the price ($49.99) isn't too unreasonable and it will serve a valuable purpose for certain users, it's hard to know how the device will perform until it is out in the wild.

These things tend to live or die based on the software they're compatible with, so only time will tell. With support from companies like Sega, Gameloft, and Namco Bandai, PowerA is on the right track. Those of you who are feeling antsy can now pre-order the MOGA from Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Toys"R"Us.

Following its 7,000-store October 21 launch, the gamepad will be available at some 2,000 T-Mobile locations in November. You might not particularly care about retailer availability, but the more of these that move, the better support there will ultimately be from developers.

Saying it again: If you have to buy and carry around a seperate device like this to play games on it, why not just carry around a 3DS or Vita instead. They both have much, much better libraries than android and better buttons/sticks than this.

If you're interested enough in games with physical buttons, this seems like the worst choice.

Though if anyone is really excited for it, I'd love to hear why, and why it makes more sense to them than the 3DS or Vita.
So... what games are worth playing? I got that Batman game for $.25 the other day and it was so bad I regret paying that quarter. I'm on a Nexus 7, if that makes any difference
I could use one of these for my Xperia Play. It'll hook on to it, right?
I'm still trying to figure out why people are trying to make tablets what they aren't.
I want to know if it works with emulators. Nothing like playing psx4droid or real64 with a gamepad
Or just connect a PS3 controller. Lord knows my PS3 doesn't get any action. What with the no games.
