As most of you know, Borderlands 2 released earlier this week. Heck, you are probably playing it right now! Look out! A Skag! Whew, that was close. Nice shot!

We wrote a ton of great features to celebrate this big, exciting release, so we thought it would help to round them all up in one, easy-to-locate place. It's been a crazy week, especially with TGS in full swing, so thought this would help all you Borderlands fans out there. So here you go!

Dibs
Attention Borderlands 2 buyers: I have dibs on Zer0
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I've got dibs on Maya
Maybe you don't care, but I have dibs on Axton
Sucks to be you guys: I call dibs on Salvador!

Surviving Pandora: A beginner's guide to Borderlands 2

How do you like Borderlands 2? Who is your character of choice?

Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)

still waiting for the release tomorrow here, well technically with some midnight launches I could already have gotten it but since I want it cheaper I have to wait till it arrives tomorrow.
IT'S TAKING OVER MY LIFE
Chad, I loved that first paragraph! It made me laugh.

I'm playing Maya and it is just as sweet as I had hoped. Maybe even SWEETER than I hoped, because Anthony's writing is just fucking awesome.
borderlands 2 is amazing, its just super frustrating playing it alone.. lol
I'm rocking Salvador, and I must confess: reloading an SMG by throwing it to cause explosive damage is satisfying.
Actually, I'm playing the first Borderlands. Never went through it, and I refuse to play the second until I beat the first and it's expansions (as well as Crawmerax the Invincible).

I'm playing it almost literally as I post (just took a minute break to check Dtoid) and so far I have a level 29 Roland Medic build and just entered Old Haven for the first time. Still have a ways to go, but I'm getting there.

Bit by bit.
So, who gets dibs on Gaige when her DLC becomes available?
I dont have this game :( , and it wont run on my computer.
Zerozerker.

I can't wait to try the other classes.
Maya. Lilith was my main in the first because it was fun watching elemental damage destroy everything around me, so I'm back to it again.
I'm going through the firsts borderlands dlc right now, once I finish that I'll wait a few weeks to not feel burnt out by the time I get my hands on Borderlands 2.
I won't be able to enjoy it until tomorrow night. I'm going to be playing it with two of my brothers, which would be worth the wait! Looking forward to it!

Played Soldier on the first one, so I decided to change things up and went Siren. I not only have a Phaselock, but a bunch of weapons that light dudes on fire and its awesome
Guys and gals, if you join gearboxes shift program, through the extras menu, you get another gold key! It takes all of 3min. Wooooo free gold key!
I hear that, Luna! I'm enjoying it, but I'll be excited when my friends finally start getting copies and playing, too.
LOVING it. Exceeds all my expectations and is keeping my attention held. I'm working on my Zer0 at the moment and he's pretty badass.
getting my ass kicked as zero..... not sure if I need to grind or what, but the game has gotten so hard that I'm starting to lose interest....
I'm playing it right now. Just came off Borderlands 1, I can say, without a doubt, that this is a MUCH better game. When ever I level up, I ACTUALLY feel that I'm making progress and the weapons are unique in usefulness and appearance.
If you have a choice don't buy the xbox version, even installed the pop in is outrageous, having to wait for nearly a full second every time you open a crate for a blob to transform into a grenade or ammo, and you can't loot it until it does, just destroys the immersion.
An amazing game otherwise,
But I won't be buying the next gen xbox if the last few years of it's life gets crappy versions of amazing games like it is this time around
@JQM74 - Use your L2 more... also make sure you're using your badass tokens.
If anyone has this on ps3 add me on MonkeyNews08 please guys! Need some chums to kill with
It has taken over my life for sure. I am playing Salvador. Wearing a bowler and a fluorescent green shirt. Going full out tank with SMGs and shotguns. Get in close, tank till I'm at half health, throw on the 'zerk, and get the damage reduction from juggernaut skill. Come at me, badass psychos.
This game looks cool. My favorite part of the game is the guns. I think I am going to get a gun from here http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-video-games.htm and do a modify to get it to look like what they use in the game.
fuck this spam!
