Are you staying up until PixelJunk 4am tonight?

Q-Games has certainly crafted some interesting experiences with their critically-acclaimed PixelJunk series. From shooters to racers, tower-defense to puzzle platformers, Q's PlayStation downloadables seem to know no bounds. Their newest release seems to take that idea and push it one step further.

PixelJunk 4am isn't so much a game as it is an interactive musical experience. Revolving around the electronic music of Japanese artist Baiyon, players are tasked with harnessing the power of the PlayStation Move controller to incorporate a set of rhythmic tools with a base melody to create a unique song. The idea certainly sounds promising.

If you'd like to give it a try PixelJunk 4am has a demo available on PSN right now, with the full game going for $9.99. Alternatively, should you just wish to listen to the creative efforts of others, there is a free application that allows PlayStation Network users to stream performances from PixelJunk DJ's the world over.

That's pretty much the only reason to pick up Move.
@KirbyMcDope Yeah and games like House of the Dead 3, 4, Overkill, Dead Space: Extraction, Resistance 3, Sports Champions, and Tumble aren't also reasons to pick up a Move
Not that half of those are Wii games people played years ago or anything.
+1 truths Mr. Kyle MacGregor
@Bones00

They're not reasons, no. Glad we agree!
Finally, a game i can O.D. to.
This doesn't really scratch my PixelJunk itch. Especially when the game will actually cost me $110 to play. Pass.
@ctg867: you forgot to add the cost of the PS3 during your stupid time.
@kirby

and child of eden, but yeah. this actually looks really cool tho, i always enjoy when gaming tries to mix with the music world. you can come across some pretty neat results/ideas this way.
i was sad when i just got PJ sidescroller for half off the other day, while at the 50% off price it wasnt bad. man does that game need a ton more levels and weapons.
Got my move for child of Eden mainly. Been waiting to try this to.
