DK Island comes under attack from a group of evil Kongs. Donkey Kong sets out to reclaim his position as king of the jungle by taking on each of the Kongs that stands in his way.
On the ground, you control Donkey Kong by hitting the left or right bongos, and clapping to jump. Collecting Bananas counts as your health and your score. DK can use the environment to throw himself around without touching the ground, providing a score multiplier. In some stages you will come across a variety of animal friends, each with their own control style and challenges.
The boss battles turn the game into a boxing match. You control each of Donkey Kong's fists with the bongos. Time your dodges by clapping, leaving the enemy open to attack.
