Telecommunications

Manx Telecom

Manx Telecom LogoManx Telecom prides itself on keeping the Island connected for more than 20 years, providing a state-of-the-art range of fixed line, mobile and data services.

While we’re a Manx company through and through, we’re not only a leader in the Isle of Man. As well as being one of the first companies in the world to offer broadband ADSL services, we were the world’s first to launch the super-fast HSDPA (3.5G) service. 2008 saw us launch a Next Generation Network (NGN): the first of its kind in the world. At a cost of £25 million, this has brought the Island all the benefits of fully converged telecommunications and entertainment.

On top of this, we’ve invested nearly £120 million over the last two decades, including £10 million on the Island’s only purpose-built data hosting centre and another £6 million on a high capacity off-Island MPLS network. All this has played a big part in attracting businesses to the Isle of Man and shaping our booming economy.

From our world-class engineers to our dedicated 999 operators, we’re here for the Manx people 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. In fact, as a company at the very heart of the community, we’re as passionate about and committed to our unique Island as it’s possible to be.
